Further to my rather personal _more to the point informative and personal _ post ….. there some awkward moments just about due to be cued up and played out, or at least, i anticipate some….
perhaps its all in my head….
i hve ended the long_standing association with ‘LazyEye’/ ‘WolfBray’ management…Mssrs Boyd and Hunter.
I dont want to jump straight into anything - my usual headless chicken late for a barn dance style of decision making needs to be reviewed… and so the two parties I mentioned hitherto have been – how shall we put this – we have been doing the client/ manager interpretation of the butterfly’s mating ritual. Circling each other in flurries and flickers. Letting the light compliment when it can, flashing hypnotic colours and guarding the dark carefully.
For example…Anais and Cyril came to me with an offer to play the ‘gala’ magazine party for €4000 – two songs only. Jean Louis has contacted me and said he could have got €10,000
hmmmmm.
and i recieved this message from Cyril, entitiled ‘well well well’
hello Peter,
I tried to talk with Jean Louis . but unfortunately it seems impossible.
I won’t get into details by emails but It’s hard to believe that this guy wants to defend your interet when I ear the way he talks about you.
I called him just to try to find the best way to be united and to make some good things for you.
He was drunk, insulting me, insulting you …
We should talk (you & me/Anais) cause he wanted to cancelled the different plans/gigs (and asks me 18 000 euros to be manager lol)…anyway it’s a strange situation..
Let me know..
Cheers

Interesting>
sorry Cyril, for putting up a private message put I want to show the minefield that is the chickenlate line of business
Dear Peter,
As circumstances seem a bit blurry right now (and my emails to lazy eye have been ignored since a long time) I am trying to reach out via this platform: I am a editor for an Austrian magazine and would love to visit you in Paris for a story. We have a great offer, so please, if there is any chance to get in touch with you or any new manager – let me know.
Thank you in advance!
S.
Please CHANGE management and find someone good at that…someone who works in the interest of you and your fans…and, possibly, someone who knows the word ‘advertisement’, and its translation into other languages as well, if that’s not too much to ask.
Was there anybody promoting your gigs lately? There has been such a poor information about your Italian tour dates, that I almost missed your concert in Brescia last Friday…and that should NOT happen. Unless you were on a secret tour, which of course would be cool, but I don’t think that was the case… So please, don’t let that happen again.
The show was brilliant, you were overwhelming, the violinist sounded like the other half of your melodic soul…speechless. I am very sorry for the under-informed fans that missed that through no fault of their own.
see you soon, hopefully
Can’t wait for you to sort all of your business out so we can see more from the Shambles
What about Prince Rupert Lowenstein …his book “Prince among Stones” or something like that. He made millions for The Rolling Stones even though Keith Richards was late and on heroin. Also read “Life” autobiography about Keith Richards said the same thing!
The Future is indeed uncertain. It’s not your fault, Peter, for agreeing to work with those who have approached you with appeals in the past. At the same time, you don’t have an infinite debt to them. I don’t mean to patronizingly commenting on your case, but I must say that like your songs, the honesty with which you present the situation cuts through to something inside of me that I often forget is there.
Yours is a blinding honesty, that of the true poet and artist. I can’t imagine the details of your situation, but there’s something universally subjective to be excavated and move forward.

Hope this is not staying up
awkward situation, Cy sounds good at writing emails thou~
Hello Lovely Peter
It’s so amazing, as always, to hear your words, but I am really sorry that by the sounds of it you are having a bit of a rough time of things as regards management etc at the moment. From what you have written, it sounds as if they are all vying against one another somewhat at the minute, so it seems like a very good plan to just take a step back and not rush into anything. After all, they are seeking your business don’t forget! And while it’s totally understandable – natural, even – that they would each want to promote what they can do for you as much as possible, the most important thing above all else is ultimately what will work best for you! I wonder if there is anyone else in the business that you know who is completely independent of all three of them and whose opinion you trust – or maybe another artist who has management that they find really good? After all, they always say when you are looking for a builder, don’t they, to go with one that someone you know has had work done and would recommend personally? Anyway, fear not, lovely – I am sure that all will come good in time, and I have no doubt whatsoever that you will ultimately make the right decision for you. I am thinking of you and your second biggest fan sends you a massive Brroww!!! He has just had a special Perle snack (it’s payday! No Whiskers on payday!!) and is now curled up as happy as Larry in front of the fire, bless him!
It’s such great news to hear that things go well with the album though – WOW!!!! I am soooo excited and absolutely cannot WAIT until it comes out, as I am sure you can imagine!!! I was amazed to hear you will maybe be recording even as soon as March – Good for you!! I do hope though that you will be able to take it as much at your own pace as you can, so that it will be as stress-free and enjoyable for you as possible – anyway, with luck, that will be the case! It is just SOOOOO exciting!!!!! I was really intrigued by some of the song titles too – do you work under different titles while you’re getting them together I wonder, or are there really even more incredible songs that we did not know about!!??!! Either way, I just know this album will be incredible – absolutely every single new song that I have heard over the past months has completely and utterly blown me away, and will do other people too – they’re truly unbelievable, Peter. Chuffed to see Spit it out in there as well!
Things here are good – not exactly alcohol-free (yet?) but calm and relatively uneventful, which I am liking. I will try and get a selection of my pics from Paris sorted out over the next couple of days and send them to you.
Love you lots and lots and lots and lots and lots
Look after yourself

uhmmmmmmmmmmmmm…….
Dude – you seriously need a plan of action:
1) Don’t do drugs
2) Get a legitimate manager that wants to make money for you and put your interests first.
3) Get a good PR person to re-brand your image in the UK media.
4) Hey presto… clean living life, like a reformed Johnny Cash, only better.
Of course, its not all about the money, but I’m sure it would be nice to actually make something out of the warped world that is the music industry.. if everyone else is having a big piece of the cake why shouldn’t you??
Thanks for info. World of show business opaque to outsiders. Good luck and hope you get someone who ensures you spend lots of time recording albums. Take care, Matthew.
